Often you can only see a tiny portion of a fish. I look for dark pieces and straight lines. When the light is tough, most of the fish are invisible and all you can make out is a small piece of a dorsal or pec fin. Then you have to put the rest of the fish together in your mind. In these tarpon, the straight lines and dark color of the tail and dorsal are what made me take a closer look. What do you look for?

I love the look of this tarpon underwater. Sometimes they show up so well that you would think they would be impossible to miss. Other times, when there is glare or clouds, they can be virtually impossible to see. This fish is a little mix of both... laying just so that the sun hits him enough to shine but if one cloud comes over this guy is invisible again. @thefloridakeys
