March 2, 2018, Florida Keys- Rich finds a beautiful, calm day and heads out solo to look for Tripletail in the Florida Bay. The Tripletail like to hang out next to the crab trap balls and on a calm day, we can ride along and actually see the fish next to the marker before stopping to fish for them. Using live shrimp or Gulp Shrimp, Rich makes a cast in front and beyond the fish and then quietly brings the bait to the fish.
Tripletail are excellent eating and one of Rich's favorite. Check out this Weekly Show to learn all about how we fish for them in the Florida Keys.
