June 18, 2018 - Islamorada, Florida Keys. Captain Rich Tudor takes his son out to the patch reefs off Islamorada to do some spearfishing. He shot multiple Lion Fish which are a nuisance to the reefs and the ecosystem, and also some Mangrove Snappers.

The new Lowrance HDS Carbon Series now comes in 16 inches, and works faster than ever. On the Yellowfin, I have two Lowrance screens that show me the sonar and DownScan Imaging. With the DownScan feature, I am able to indicate what types of fish are near me, such as game or bait fish. This allows me to have better fishing experiences, because I know what I am targeting.

Rare Opah Catch Off Ft Lauderdale For Geoff Arias
I thought that the Opah was only found in the Pacific Ocean, but I was wrong. My friend, Geoff Arias sent me a picture today of an Opah. (You may remember Geoff...we shot a TV show together and you can see that here.) When I first looked at it, I thought that he had probably taken a trip to Hawaii. Then, I looked back at the text and saw that it was not caught in Hawaii but rather, off the coast of Ft Lauderdale.
